About Us

Emerald Tree Service is owned and operated by Dylan and Alex. Dylan grew up in the Kenora and Falcon Lake area and knows the landscape well. After moving to Winnipeg and working as a grounds person for a tree care and removal company, he went on to complete the University of Manitoba’s Arboriculture course and get his International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification. Alex grew up in Winnipeg and spent every summer with family in Falcon Lake. She studied environmental science and biology at the University of Winnipeg, with a focus in forest ecology. After graduating she was eager to set down roots in the Kenora area and put her knowledge to practical use. With Dylan’s hands-on experience and Alex’s education, Emerald Tree Service was born! From then on our goal has been to provide safe, reliable, and effective tree care and removal to the Lake of the Woods and Whiteshell areas.
